I have the privilege of traveling to breathtaking locations to capture love stories. Katie & Michael’s destination wedding in Bordeaux, France, at the stunning Château Gassies was truly unforgettable.

The journey began with a flight to Bordeaux alongside the talented photographer Jamie Flood. The night before the wedding, we joined Katie & Michael for an intimate family dinner, capturing beautiful candid moments. As the sun set, we took the couple for a golden hour walk around the château, filming stunning shots of the two of them. A particularly special moment was when Katie gifted Michael a Cartier watch, a deeply meaningful surprise.

A Beautiful Wedding Morning

Arriving bright and early at Château Gassies, we captured the excitement of bridal prep, including an emotional first look between Katie and her father. Michael and his groomsmen looked sharp, and we took time for some classic groom portraits. Before the ceremony, we filmed the bridal party enjoying a fun and relaxed moment together.

The outdoor ceremony was simply stunning, set against a backdrop of nature and timeless elegance. The drinks reception was filled with joy—guests shared laughter, clinked glasses, and embraced the couple in heartfelt moments, all against the château’s picturesque scenery. The speeches were deeply emotional, leaving not a dry eye in the house. Between courses, the atmosphere buzzed with energy as guests celebrated.
